BIORÉ UNMASKS ITS LATEST

Bioré is getting tough on pores with its new Self-Heating Mask. The new mask is said to be a 60-second, triple-action deep cleansing treatment that heats instantly upon contact with wet skin. A natural clay, called zeolite, delivers the heating action. It raises the temperature just enough to liquify the waxy sebum and oils found on the skin’s surface and in pores. A second clay, called kaolin, absorbs the oils and lifts residue from the skin. The mask is then simply washed away. Bioré recommends using the mask once a week or as often as needed. A box of six masks has a suggested retail price of $8.99.

Bioré also introduces its Mild Daily Cleansing Scrub, which contains sorbitol, a natural plant extract. Micro scrubbing beads break down even further to cleanse the skin of dirt and oils. A 150 g bottle carries a suggested retail price of $8.99.

As well, the company has developed the fragrance-free Bioré Pore Perfect Toner. Formulated with beta hydroxy acid and tea tree oil, the toner helps dissolve oils and kills germs. The company recommends using the toner twice daily. A 160 mL bottle sells for about $8.99. For more information on the Bioré line, visit the company’s web site at www.biore.com
